Farmer Billy, his wife Mrs. Juanita, and their rabbit friend Morton live happily on a farm where they grow crops to make into fabric and food to feed themselves. While Mrs. Juanita and Morton tend to the garden and keep it growing tall and lush, Farmer Billy cultivates the fields. When the crops are mature, Farmer Billy harvests the crops and processes it into thread that is then woven by Mrs. Juanita at her loom. Morton the bunny helps by crushing flowers from the garden into pigments that are used to dye Mrs. Juanita’s fabric. At the end of each day they gather together their bounty of beautiful fruit and vegetables to prepare into healthy and delicious food.
